Giving back has always been part of who we are at Master Care. We work inside hundreds of businesses across BC and Ontario, and we believe our responsibility extends beyond cleaning their spaces. Strong communities create strong workplaces, so we make it a priority to support local organizations that help families, youth, and neighbourhoods thrive.
This year, Giving Tuesday is a great reminder of how small contributions can create meaningful change. For us, community support is not a seasonal initiative. It is a regular part of how we show up as a local service provider and how we live our values as a company.
Supporting Girls in Sport
We are proud sponsors of the Langley Girls Ice Hockey Association. This program helps young athletes build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of belonging. Many of our team members have daughters involved in local sports, so this partnership is close to our hearts. Our support helps ensure more girls have access to quality coaching, safe equipment, and inclusive opportunities to play.
Helping Children and Families During the Holidays
Master Care is participating once again in the HAVAN Coats for Kids campaign, which supports the Lower Mainland and Surrey Christmas Bureaus. Our office serves as a drop-off location for new and gently used winter coats, and our franchisees help collect donations from their customers. A warm coat can make a real difference for a child, especially during the colder months, and we are grateful to play a small role.
Creating Opportunities for Youth Mentorship
This year, Master Care contributed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley’s “75 Doors” campaign with a $1,500 donation. This program allows young people to access mentorship, goal setting, and consistent adult support. We know that mentorship can change the path of someone’s life, so supporting this initiative aligns with our values and our belief in strengthening the next generation.
Celebrating Local Sports and Events
Being active and connected is part of a healthy community. We support local sporting and cultural events, including the Abbotsford Basketball Tournament and the Tsawwassen Festival of Lights supporting Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation. These events bring people together, showcase local talent, and build pride in the places we serve every day.
