Protecting the health and safety of your facility requires more than routine cleaning. Master Care provides specialized disinfection and sanitization services for facilities located in BC and Ontario, using advanced application methods and industry-approved disinfectants to reduce contamination and support a safer environment for everyone in your building.
Healthcare-Grade Electrostatic & Surface Sanitation
Master Care’s specialized disinfection services deliver hospital-grade disinfection programs that protect your building and the people who work and visit there. Our technical teams work around your operational hours to provide comprehensive sanitization with minimal disruption and minimal oversight required from your team. We work with office managers, property managers, and business owners to implement consistent disinfectant routines suited to each facility’s risk profile and usage.
Master Care uses electrostatic spraying technology as part of our advanced disinfection programs. Electrostatic application works by giving disinfectant droplets an electric charge as they leave the sprayer. This charge causes the droplets to actively attract and wrap around surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas that traditional spray-and-wipe methods often miss.
The result is more uniform coverage across complex surfaces, equipment, furniture, and shared spaces in less time and with greater accuracy than conventional cleaning methods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Disinfection service costs in British Columbia and Ontario depend on facility size, surface complexity, application method (spray-and-wipe, electrostatic spraying, or fogging), frequency, and industry risk profile.
Medical facilities, schools, and food-adjacent environments typically require more rigorous protocols, and therefore different pricing, than standard office disinfection. Master Care provides a free facility assessment and delivers a written program and pricing proposal based on your specific pathogen risk, not a generic square-footage rate.
Month-to-month agreements are standard; no long-term contract is required.
Yes. Master Care uses Health Canada DIN-registered disinfectants — products that have been reviewed and approved for efficacy against specific pathogens including bacteria, enveloped viruses, and fungi. We select disinfectants appropriate to the facility type and risk profile: what is appropriate for a general office differs from what is required in a medical clinic or childcare centre.
Our teams are trained in correct dwell times — the contact time a disinfectant must remain wet on a surface to achieve its claimed kill rate. Wiping a surface dry before dwell time is complete renders the disinfectant ineffective. This is one of the most common errors in self-managed disinfection programs.
We also offer non-toxic, Health Canada-compliant green disinfection options for environments where chemical sensitivity is a concern, including schools and facilities with immunocompromised occupants.
Electrostatic spraying applies an electric charge to disinfectant droplets as they leave the sprayer. The charged droplets are attracted to surfaces, including the backs, undersides, and hard-to-reach areas that a standard spray-and-wipe approach misses entirely. The result is 360-degree surface coverage at a fraction of the application time.
Compared to fogging, electrostatic spraying delivers more controlled droplet size, better surface adhesion, and less product waste. Compared to manual spray-and-wipe, it covers complex surfaces like chair undersides, keyboard surfaces, and irregular fixtures that manual application routinely misses.
Master Care uses electrostatic spraying for scheduled disinfection programs and emergency outbreak response across BC and Ontario.
These three terms are often used interchangeably but describe different levels of pathogen control:
- Cleaning removes visible dirt, dust, and debris from surfaces. It reduces the number of germs but does not kill them. This is what standard janitorial and office cleaning programs deliver.
- Sanitizing reduces bacteria on surfaces to levels considered safe by public health standards, typically a 99.9% reduction. Sanitizing is appropriate for food-contact surfaces and general workplace hygiene.
- Disinfecting kills a much broader spectrum of pathogens — including viruses, fungi, and bacteria, using Health Canada DIN-registered chemical agents applied at specific concentrations and dwell times. Disinfection is required for medical facilities, outbreak response, and high-risk environments.
Master Care provides all three levels of service. Most facilities need a combination: routine cleaning for daily maintenance, with scheduled or triggered disinfection for high-touch surfaces and sensitive areas.
Professional disinfection is recommended, and in some cases required, for the following facility types:
- Medical and dental offices, clinics, and healthcare facilities: infection control requirements and regulated cleaning protocols
- Schools, childcare centres, and post-secondary institutions: high contact density, vulnerable populations, and provincial health guidelines
- Long-term care and assisted living facilities: immunocompromised residents and strict outbreak prevention requirements
- Food production and food-adjacent commercial kitchens: CFIA and health authority compliance
- Offices and commercial facilities following illness exposure or confirmed outbreak: return-to-work clearance and staff confidence
- Gyms, fitness centres, and recreational facilities: high-touch equipment and shared surfaces
Master Care provides disinfection programs tailored to the specific compliance requirements and risk profiles of each environment.
